About Captain Sam:

Captain Sam was born and raised in Northern Michigan and fishing is his passion.  Sam earned his Captain license in 1996. With many tournament victories around the world he knows his home waters like the back of his hand. He enjoys providing a safe and fun experience for families, friends, business trips and party’s.

When West Bay is frozen you will find Sam in waters near Costa Rica in World Class Fishing Tournaments.  Ten years of professional tournament fishing around the globe from the West Coast to the East Coast including Mexico and Costa Rica with over 30 Top Ten Finishes including winning the 2011 Offshore World Championship and being ranked #4 in the world as an angler.

Captain Sam was just voted into “Top 10 Northern Michigan Charter Boat Captians”.
